Fort Myers Beach, incorporated in 1995 is a small town situated on the islands of Estero and San Carlos. It is just over 20 miles from Southwest Florida International Airport and just a short drive from the larger city of Fort Myers.
Fort Myers Beach boasts an average temperature in the low-80s in the summer months and in the mid-60s in the winter, and this is coupled with higher-than-average sunshine year round. This truly makes our community a little corner of paradise no matter what time of year. Our 6,300 residents tend to be very civic minded and are governed by a 5 member town council headed by the mayor.
