April 29th – Fort Myers Beach Taste of the Beach Festival
The Taste of Beach Fort Myers festival has become a Fort Myers area tradition since 1995. The event takes place at the Bay Oaks Recreation Center in Fort Myers Beach. Enjoy local restaurants’ sumptuous fare in one of nature’s finest settings. Relax among the tall oaks with friends and family enjoying fresh shore breezes with great food, fantastic entertainment and plenty of things to do. Enjoy samples of barbeque, Mexican and desserts to name a few as well as a huge variety of seafood…of course! June – Fort Myers Beach Open Water Festival
The Fort Myers Beach Open Water Festival has been a popular swimming race event since 2006. Swimmers from all over the United States and Canada compete in a variety of race events including the 5K, 10K, 25 K and World Trials.

October – Fort Myers Beach Pirate Fest
The Pirate Festival is one of the largest and most exciting events to take place on Fort Myers Beach. This year’s Festival will provide more entertainment than ever before for the whole family!
The Pirate Festival features a Pirate Invasion, Parade, Fight Ring and a Ship-to-Shore Battle with black powder cannon and small arms fire! The festival will also feature two stages of live entertainment from some of the best Pirate Crews, Actors, Storytellers, and Musicians from across the state of Florida.
This is a great family event…come on down!

November 7th-11th – Fort Myers Beach American Sandsculpting Championship
The Fort Myers Beach Chamber of Commerce is proud to present the American SandSculpting Championship & Beach Festival. This Fort Myers Beach festival continues its tradition as one of the most popular, family-friendly events in Florida — attracting an estimated crowd of 50,000 attendees — over the 5-day event..

The annual event, owes much of its success to Southwest Florida’s abundant natural resources — particularly the soft, sugar-white sands of Fort Myers Beach — which are considered the best in the world for sand sculpting events.

The winning sculptor from the American SandSculpting Championship & Beach Festival earns an automatic invitation to the World Championships.
