Three Day Weekend on Fort Myers Beach

Fort Myers Beach has an endless variety of things to do.

Here’s what just a three-day weekend vacation could look like:

Friday:

Morning: Ease into the vacation. Order a wonderful room-service breakfast from your hotel or resort restaurant.

Mid-Morning: Get to know the lay of the land (and sea). Take a walk on the beach to view our beautiful coastline. You could end up at Times Square to do a little shopping at a boutique or two.

Mid-Day: Casual lunches are served everywhere in the area. From creative sandwiches and burgers to crispy pizza, our Ft. Myers Beach restaurants are ready to serve.

Afternoon: Rent a bicycle or a scooter and give yourself a tour of the beach area. Stop occasionally to rest and maybe visit with the friendly locals.

Evening: No matter what you’re doing, you’ll want to take a break and enjoy a magnificent Ft. Myers Beach sunset.

Saturday:

Morning: Take a quick dip in the pool. Most of our area restaurants are open for breakfast.

Mid–Morning: How does landing a big fish sound? There are fishing charters available throughout the Ft. Myers Beach area. Be sure to take pictures of your catch to show your friends.

Afternoon: Feeling really adventurous? Get a bird’s eye view of Ft. Myers Beach by giving parasailing a try.

Evening: Trying our local seafood restaurants at least once is a must do. Our local restaurants offer everything from fish to crabs and shrimp and everything in between.

Sunday:

Morning: How about a morning beach stroll to take in the sights before breakfast at a nearby restaurant?

Mid-Morning: You’re not even close to running out of things to do! Rollerblades are available for rental. What a great way to see the sights again.

Mid-Day: There are several nearby grocery stores to shop for goodies to make your own gulf side lunch. You may also have time for a little more shopping at our fine retailers.

Afternoon: Time to get back on that wonderful gulf water! In Ft. Myers Beach, you can rent everything from boats and kayaks or maybe the ever popular wave runner.

Evening: Top off your Ft. Myers Beach vacation with a sunset dinner cruise. There are fine local marinas ready to take your reservations.

We hope you enjoy your Ft. Myers Beach vacation. You’ll never run out of things to do!
